Grand-carer & Youth Initiative
The Grand-carer & Youth Initiative is designed to support grandparents who are primary carers through the provision of resources, resilience building activities, and the establishment of support groups. Our aim is that grandparents raising their grandchildren will become more resilient through being:
- Visible and supported
- Involved and connected
- Heard and respected Because we understand the sacrifice and challenges involved in raising grandchildren and because we are in awe of the love that grandparents give the children in their care, we call Grandcarers 'True Blue Angels'.
