DAISI provides free information on services and supports available to assist people with disabilities, aged people and their families, carers and advocates. We are based in Lismore and service the Far North Coast region from just North of Woolgoolga to Tweed Heads.
Our aim is to provide information that is relevant and accessible to people with disabilities, aged people and their families, carers, and advocates.
DAISI commenced service in January 1992 and is a community based, incorporated non-profit organisation funded through Ageing Disability and Home Care, Disability Services Program and HACC Program.
Over the years through our information and advocacy work, we have become aware of significant gaps in service provision for our community. DAISI has responded to those needs by seeking funding and building partnerships to develop innovative programs to address those service gaps. We auspice a number of projects and you can read more about them by using the menu on the left of your screen.
